TechUp is an online academy that runs bootcamps and courses in software development, data analytics, and generative AI. By broadening access to high-value skills and jobs, we aim to strengthen social and economic mobility in Thailand’s workforce while also accelerating the country’s digital and AI transformation. Our flagship full-time software developer bootcamp targets people with no prior technical experience, takes them through 4 months of intensive skills training, and connects them with job opportunities. In 2025, we are launching a B2B service and revamping our existing content to provide adaptive learning experiences using generative AI. We are looking for a Learning Content Developer to support these growth initiatives by creating world-class content for our individual and corporate learners.
Role Scope
We are seeking a full-time Learning Content Developer to create engaging learning content (e.g., lessons and exercises) that will power TechUp’s courses and bootcamps. The Learning Content Developer’s key mission is to craft learning journeys that enable non-technical learners to effectively grasp technical concepts and develop technical skills. The role will also entail working closely with our instructors, teaching assistants, and designers to leverage learner data and feedback to iteratively improve our learning content. Key responsibilities include:
- Structure the learning experiences in our courses and bootcamps to target specific learning objectives.
- Develop compelling textual and multimedia content (illustration briefs, video storyboards/scripts) that explain technical concepts to non-technical learners in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Design exercises that gradually assess and strengthen target knowledge and skills.
- Write clear, organized lesson plans enabling instructors to deliver engaging sessions in an inclusive manner.
- Validate technical accuracy with subject-matter experts and escalate issues promptly.

- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Thai
- Strong English reading and listening skills (can leverage English-language resources such as videos or articles to build new content)
- Self-starter with the ability to organize projects with minimal supervision
- Highly coachable and able to receive and incorporate feedback regularly
- Entry-level knowledge in software development, data analytics, or data science, plus ability to use generative-AI tools effectively
- Experience in education, workforce skills training, and/or tech is a plus, but not required (We welcome applications from recent graduates who have extensive internship experiences and a track record leading projects in student organizations or volunteer work.)
This role may NOT be a good fit if you:
- Prefer working alone rather than in a collaborative team;
- Need clearly defined, fixed structures and processes and feel uncomfortable with ambiguity and rapid iterations;
- Find it difficult to receive and act on constructive feedback.
