About TechUp
TechUp is an online academy that runs bootcamps and courses for individuals wanting to start a career in tech. By broadening access to high-paying, high-quality jobs, we strengthen social and economic mobility in Thailand while also accelerating the country’s digital transformation. Our flagship full-time bootcamp targets people with no prior programming experience, takes them through 4 months of intensive skills training, and connects them with job opportunities at our employer partners. To minimize financial barriers, we offer our students the option of delaying tuition fee payment until after they have secured a job. This year, we have launched additional part-time courses in software development and partnered with Eskwelabs, a data upskilling academy in the Philippines, to bring their data analytics bootcamp to Thailand and bring our software development bootcamp to the Philippines. Furthermore, we are planning to launch new courses in 2025 and expand our B2B offerings. We are looking for a Learning Program Manager to support this growth and provide our learners with world-class experiences across all facets of their TechUp experience.
Role scope
We are seeking a full-time Learning Program Manager to manage the end-to-end experience of our Thai and international learners from admission into the bootcamp all the way to job placement and beyond. The Learning Program Manager’s key mission will be to shape our bootcamps and courses into the best possible learning experience for our diverse group of students. The role will also entail working closely with our instructors and teaching assistants to streamline our operations in order to support the growth of our business. The role will report to our Senior Program Manager and key tasks will include:
- Manage our bootcamp admissions process, including interviewing shortlisted applicants and supporting them through the application and onboarding journey;
- Cultivating relationships with prospective students, including via 1-1 consultations and by organizing outreach events;
- Gather data and insights on student and alumni experience using surveys and 1-1 check-ins; synthesize and communicate findings to the team to generate improvement ideas;
- Coach students and alumni on job application and interview skills;
- Implement projects and initiatives to improve the learning experience in our bootcamps and the support we provide to our alumni;
- Work on special projects with our co-founders.
